I love to read. I also love to learn from people, and I feel so privileged to have had the opportunities to network and connect with the best minds in the business. The great thing about working at Nufarm and as part of agriculture and science in general, is that people want to help. I’ve reached out to people countless times across the industry and the opportunities to learn just keep coming!
One day while reading an industry publication, B. came across an inspirational article about an industry leader.
Months later, at a conference, B. recognised the name of one of the delegates as the industry leader in the article and approached him… From there a mentorship blossomed.
Through the encouragement of her new mentor, B. landed a place in the 2018 – 2019 Advancing Ag Future Leaders Program.
After that, B. was selected to join a program at the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization’s (UNESCO) SDG school in Paris, joining 100 other young leaders.
“From building relationships, gaining a new mentor, to the industry insights I learned, the program changed my life. Working at Nufarm allowed me to stay connected to the industry and continue to keep learning while building my career.
